how can i trust a supplier who wants cash first before sending any goods. I dont want to use western union or moneygram as there is no insurance available for them and are always used for fraud?
1, I think more information of this supplier is needed. After the more information ,if you trust him ,you can pay a part of money to him.If you are not sure about him, consult with him and try a agree on another payment.
2,If you are trying to make a big deal with the supplier, it's better you check with some friends nearby that area or ask them to visit the supplier factory personally.
i help my clients to visit their suppliers before they pay any cent.
in China, i think most of the suppliers expect to receive money before sending goods....by T/T or by WU...
goodluck to you.........

3,based on the trust , I think you can pay half cost to the supplier , once you received the goods then the buyer should pay the rest at once . So this is good for both's mutual benifits
4,If the money is no so big,you can have a try,or you may use other payment. So this is good for both's mutual benifits.
5,the credit about the supplier is very important!
they will be punished by the PAYPAL, WESTERN UNION, etc, if they got the money and send nothing to u!
so do not worry!
